Terms & Conditions for Membership

Please attach the following documents along with the application form:

1. Photo copies of Trade License, Police license, Excise licence & Municipality or NAC License applicable in your Area.
2. Photographs of front facade, reception, a room with bathroom, kitchen either completion or under construction.
3. Cheque/Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of “Hotel & Restaurant Association of Orissa”, Bhubaneswar.
4. Filled in application must be proposed & seconded by any HRAO member.
5. Please keep a photo copy of this application with you, for your reference.
6. Please collect Membership Card / Membership Certificate after approval of your Membership or Expiry of your Membership. The card will be issued on payment of annual fees as per the bill issued to you.
7. Please attend all meetings to say and share your problems and the problems of fellow member.
8. Please print in your tariff card or letter pad “Member of Hotel & Restaurant Association of Orissa” with your Membership number.
9. Please display the Membership Certificate of HRAO at your reception counter.
10. Please honour the Membership discount card issued to HRAO Members i.e. 30% discount on Food, Accommodation & Beverage (excluding liquor).
11. Members are requested to present Discount cards before placing the order in restaurants or inform in advance for booking a room.

Subscription Fees Structure

Admission Fee for Hotel (one time) – Rs. 10,000/-
Admission Fee for Restaurant (one time) – Rs. 10,000/-
Annual Subscription Fees (For 5 Stars Hotels) – Rs. 14,300/- (10% enhanced)
Annual Subscription Fees (For 4 Stars Hotels) – Rs. 8,800/- (10% enhanced)
Annual Subscription Fees (For 3 Stars Hotels) – Rs. 6,600/- (10% enhanced)
Annual Subscription Fees (All other category Hotels) – Rs. 3,300/- (10% enhanced)

To become member of HRAO, following documents are required

1. HRAO application form to be duly filled by the owner of the property, (Hotel or Restaurant) with seal stamp.
   *  Eligible for Hotel – 10 nos. standard rooms with
   *  Eligible for Restaurant – 40 PAX seating capacity with A/c.
2. Memorandum of article from the particular organization.
3. Current year Audited Balance Sheet Xerox copy.
4. District Industries Center (DIC) registration Xerox copy.
5. Approval Certificate from the Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of Odisha.
6. Food License Certificate from local municipal authorities
7. Fire Safety Equipments installation of Fire Alarm System – NOC from commissioner ate of police
8. Pollution Control Board (Consent to Operate) NOC Certificate
