Once again my heartiest greetings to all of you for your selfless support to me for the post of Secretary General of HRAO for the year 2016-2019 for second term.
Also it was declared by Advisor in 30th AGM the Office Bearers of 2016-2019 may continue till further tenure i.e. 2019-20, 2020-21 & 2021-22 without any changes for their good spirit and achievements towards association.
Friends, Odisha has been a hub for its valued religion, culture, art and craft & natural beauty, but has remained un-explored which has resulted in low tourist in flow. As per the Tourism Policy-2016 of Govt. of Odisha, tourism has to play a major role in promoting faster, sustainable and inclusive economic growth of the state. Across the world, the tourism industry is one of the largest generation of the employments.
The “Incredible India Campaign” has attracted worldwide attention by which Odisha can explore its hidden heritage of rural art & craft, natural sceneries (Chilika & Bhitarkania), tribal culture, wildlife destinations, which no doubt are incredible not only in India, but also in Asia.
The time has come for us to be united and interact with Govt. for development of infrastructure by way of road, air connectivity, special tourist trains, security measures and implement the policy “Atithi Devo Bhava” by which no doubt we can attract domestic as well as foreign tourists.
